During his 25 years at sea, Tajbar has commanded 22 different vessels and has served as Chief Officer on 12 different vessels. Tajbar’s sea going experience includes a variety of vessel types like general cargo ships, handy to cape size bulk carriers and oil tankers, including VLCCs.

On coming ashore in 2005, Tajbar joined Northern Marine Management Ltd (UK) working with the Safety, Environment & Quality Department as a Fleet Safety Specialist. In 2008 Tajbar shifted to Singapore and joined EMS Ship Management as Safety, Quality and Marine Superintendent.

During four years of shore based experience with ship management companies, Tajbar gained experience in managing oil, chemical and gas tankers, bulk carriers, container, Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax vessels.

After joining TMC Singapore as a Consultant Master Mariner, Tajbar has worked on fire/explosion, crew injury/death, collision, grounding and unsafe port disputes. In addition, Tajbar has carried out numerous navigational audits, pre-purchase inspections, and condition surveys.
