TMC can perform hydrodynamic analysis in the frequency domain to accurately predict or reconstruct vessel motion and sea loads for ships and floating structures.
TMC are able to provide a comprehensive array of analyses covering all aspects of manoeuvring.
TMC are able to carry out detailed, structural analyses of ship structure (primary, secondary and tertiary members) either by direct calculation assessments or using the class approved and validated DNV 3-D Beam program, part of their Nauticus Hull suite, for carrying out beam analyses.
SEAMASTER was originally written in 1979 by the founding partners of TMC, and after continuous upgrading over the years this hydrostatic program remains one of the core in-house programs.
TMC are able to carry out highly detailed, structural analyses for both static and dynamic strength assessments as relevant to the marine/offshore industry using one of the most comprehensive and sophisticated finite element analysis (FEA) programs available.
TMC original wrote their in-house container lashing program in 1979, and this has been modified on a continuous basis according to changing rules and regulations, and also as part of meeting specific requirements for clients.
Optimoor is a unique, easy-to-use computer program for the analysis of vessel moorings. In use world-wide, Optimoor is proven as an essential tool for vessel and port operations personnel.
Project cargo essentially involves ‘one-off’ or otherwise unusual cargo, that differs from conventional cargo due to its excessive or irregular size or which is too heavy to be loaded in a conventional manner using normal lifting techniques and/or which cannot be stowed and secured in the conventional manner for the vessel considered.
Some of the TMC surveyors have previously worked in Classification which, together with our consultant Don Lowes who was formerly Senior Principal Surveyor to Lloyd's Register and Head of Ship Classification, means we have extensive experience of field surveys for both new-buildings and existing vessels for most ship types
The TMC Offshore Team has experience in all disciplines necessary to support the offshore industry.
Our UK and Singapore offices are ideally located to cover operations in the North Sea and Asian areas whilst we remain ready to immediately mobilize to all other areas
